An Art Exhibition & Event Celebrating Water on the shores of Lake Michigan.

By celebrating water we hope to better protect it.


Participating Locations: 

James May Gallery, JMG North, Steele Street Trading Co. & Gallery, Jabberwock Gallery and Studio, Clay on Steele, Yardstick, The Algoma Book Corner, Steele Street Hopps, & von Stiehl Winery. 


Event Schedule:

Friday May 4th

Art Openings on Historic Steele Street: Friday, May 4th from 5:30-8

- Art celebrating water from over 100 regional & national artists

-Sap Happy Maple Products will be selling their yummy snacks!

Waters Edge Artists- painters for preservation- the plein air painters group will be painting on-site from 9am-dusk. 

- Pay it Forward Ethiopia Food Truck 5-8:30pm

- Live Music: Levi Zeitler & Chris Ragowski at Steele Street Hops 7-10pm


Saturday May 5th 

- Galleries and businesses open to see the art you missed the night before and to continue the conversation about water.

- Water's Edge Painters 9am - dusk

- Free Screenprinting, James May Gallery 10-12pm

- Nature Reading, The Algoma Book Corner 1:30-3pm

- Documentary Screening and Q&A, James May North 4pm

- Live Music: Steele Street Hops, Kevin Megna & Ross Catterton 7-10pm
